MISSION STATEMENT:

The Roseau Education Fund promotes the highest quality education in our community and raises financial resources which will enhance educational opportunities within the Roseau School District.

The Roseau Education Fund is a catalyst …

  • Serving as an opportunity to respond to issues and challenges facing education in our communities.
  • Providing a vehicle through which individuals, families, organizations and businesses can make charitable gifts in support of educational excellence.
  • Representing a community working together to realize dreams and aspirations by opening the doors to education.

GOALS OF THE ROSEAU EDUCATION FUND:

  • Enhancing educational opportunities for students K – 12 and beyond.
  • Bringing in unique programs to expand students’ awareness of the world.
  • Funding scholarships for higher education.
  • Acquiring creative tools of learning.
  • Challenging staff development, innovation and initiative.
  • Enhancing classroom materials, with an emphasis on technology, to provide more opportunities for students.
  • Supporting the use and development of education programs that expand students’ awareness of the world and enhance their education.
  • Connecting donors and prospect donors, their goals and interests, with the needs and priorities of ISD #682 and its students.

PRIORITY AREAS:

  • Library Services – for materials and programs
  • Art & Music – for band, choir, purchase of instruments, and theater productions
  • Academic Excellence – for program participation and development
  • Technology – for capital improvements
